Delete your account
This page is for marked, the detective story app made by Ozodbek Khayrullaev. Reading a case needs no account; if you signed in with Apple or Google to vote and appear on the leaderboard, here is how to delete that account and everything stored with it.
In the app — instant
- Open marked and go to the Today screen.
- Tap the settings icon in the top right corner.
- Open your profile, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm. The account is gone immediately; nothing else is required.
By email — if you no longer have the app
Write to hello@marked.page from the email address you signed in with, with the subject Delete my marked account. We delete the account within 30 days and reply when it is done. We ask for nothing else — no documents, no phone number.
What is deleted
- your profile and the name shown on the leaderboard;
- your game history — which cases you played, the verdicts you gave, whether they were right, and the points they earned;
- your place on the leaderboard;
- the sign-in record itself, including the email address Apple or Google passed to us and your account identifier.
Nothing about you is kept afterwards, and none of it can be restored.
What is kept, and for how long
- Backups: copies in the database backups are overwritten within 30 days.
- Server logs: Google Firebase keeps ordinary request logs — IP address, device type, time — for a short period for security and reliability. They are not linked to your account and are not used to identify you.
- On your iPhone: reading progress, recent searches and settings live only on the device and are never sent to us. Deleting the app removes them.
